BT appointed Icosnet, as a local partner to contribute on the Algerian part of a global project with one of their customers, a world-renowned logistics operator, to optimize its in-country telecommunication infrastructures.
The project focussed on 3 main phases :
- The colocation of a telecom platform in a secure Algeria based icosnet Datacenter replacing the end customer’s existing local platform.
- The transfer to DCF of the redundant international links allowing information exchanges with the customer global Headquarters.
- The routing of the customer national access network to the new platform.
The various stages of this platform installation were carried out by BT engineers with icosnet technical teams’ support.
Using the latest digital collaboration tools, icosnet teams were able to give access and assist BT engineers from different worldwide locations in order to put the new platform in place.
